So what do women want, besides everything. That’s a comment my grandpa used to make when attempting to giving me the breakdown of the opposite sex. I’ll admit, women are complex, so gauging what a female wants in the frame of an article from some unknown online magazine might seem as reliable as a used car…however, not all used cars are unreliable.

Recent polls taken in a popular women’s magazine asked their readers what the most important traits were in a man- Listed from most important to least- here’s a look at what women really want in a man:

55% Confidence/Charisma. The polled woman said that if a man knows what he wants and he goes after it with confidence, it’s an ultimate turn on. For a woman, this equates to reliability and security. This does not mean going off the deep end and bragging days on end about how ultra successful all your endeavors are (even when they are). Keep it real guys. Women want a man brave enough to go up to bat, but she doesn’t expect him to hit all the balls out of the park. She’s interested in showing up to watch you in the game. If she shows up wearing a jersey with your name on it…all the better.

22% Strength/Courage. The strength a woman is talking about is not in terms of how much weight you can lift in the gym. We’re talking about the strength you exert when the going gets tough in life. The surveyed women agreed that how a man takes control of a crisis gives a woman a sense of comfort. Most females register life through emotions, so having a guy who is head-strong and courageous is the perfect balance for her.

20% Power and Influence. Men are considered the dominate sex by virtue of mother nature. As a result women (subconsciously or consciously) gravitate towards men who have power and influence on some level. This could very well explain why Donald Trump is married (kidding…we love Donald). Guys don’t have to be extremely good looking to snag a beautiful woman. So what’s the secret sauce to dominating gorgeous vixens? Power in terms of titles here- CEO’S, VP’s, work nicely, but it’s more about owning something of your own- owning yourself, and your own power as a man is equally as sexy to her.

3% Incredible Sex Skills. Women love to feel like a woman. There’s no better way to create this feeling than in the bedroom. Sex was rated last on this list, not because women don’t like sex. On the contrary, women love sex just as much as men. The operative word in this survey is skills. They emphasized that it was about the quality of pleasure they receive as opposed to the quantity. This doesn’t mean that you have to turn into the living version of the kama sutra, but do give her your full attention during sex and be willing to learn what turns her on.
