About Shave Magazine
Shave Magazine is a small, independent website about shaving and grooming: razors, shaving creams and soaps, brushes and bowls, aftershaves, trimmers, epilators, head shaving and beard care. Our guides compare products and explain what to look for, so you can choose what suits your skin, hair and budget.
We do not sell products, and we do not test products hands-on. Instead, we research them: manufacturer specifications and ingredient lists, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidance on cosmetics, recall databases, and, for skin and shaving topics, guidance from the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Our guides are general information, not medical advice. If you have a skin condition, an infection, or razor bumps or ingrown hairs that don’t go away, please see a doctor or dermatologist.
